（商品説明）

ニューキノロン系抗菌剤注射液、バイトリルのジェネリック品。

幅広い細菌に強力な殺菌作用を示します。グラム陽性菌やグラム陰性菌などの多様な細菌に対し、有効成分エンロフロキサシンが素早く感染組織に移行し、優れた殺菌治療効果を発揮します。

主に犬・猫の尿路感染症に使用されることが多い薬です

有効成分エンロフロキサシン100mg/ml含有。

犬：5~10mg/1kg

Indications

Cattle: Treatment of respiratory tract infections caused by strains of Pasteurella multocida, Mannheimia haemolytica and Mycoplasma spp. sensitive to enrofloxacin. Treatment of severe Acute Mastitis caused by Escherichia coli strains susceptible to enrofloxacin. Treatment of digestive tract infections caused by enrofloxacin-susceptible strains of Escherichia coli. Treatment of septicemia caused by enrofloxacin susceptible strains of Escherichia coli. Treatment of Acute Arthritis associated with mycoplasmas, caused by strains of Mycoplasma bovis sensitive to enrofloxacin, in cattle less than 2 years of age.

Pigs: Treatment of respiratory tract infections caused by strains of Pasteurella multocida, Mycoplasma spp. and Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae susceptible to enrofloxacin. Treatment of urinary tract infections caused by enrofloxacin-susceptible strains of Escherichia coli. Treatment of Postpartum Dysgalactia Syndrome (PDS) / Mastitis, Metritis and Agalactia Syndrome (MMA) caused by strains of Escherichia coli and Klebsiella spp. sensitive to enrofloxacin. Treatment of digestive tract infections caused by enrofloxacin-susceptible strains of Escherichia coli. Treatment of septicemia caused by enrofloxacin susceptible strains of Escherichia coli.

Posology

Intravenous, subcutaneous or intramuscular use.

Cattle: 5 mg of enrofloxacin / kg bw, corresponding to 1 ml / 20 kg bw, once a day for 3 to 5 days.

Acute arthritis associated with mycoplasmas, caused by strains of Mycoplasma bovis susceptible to enrofloxacin, in cattle less than 2 years of age: 5 mg of enrofloxacin / kg bw, corresponding to 1 ml / 20 kg bw, once a day for 5 days.

Acute mastitis caused by Escherichia coli: 5 mg enrofloxacin / kg bw, corresponding to 1 ml / 20 kg bw, by slow intravenous injection once a day for 2 consecutive days.

The second dose can be administered subcutaneously. In this case, the waiting time after subcutaneous injection is extended.

No more than 10 ml should be administered in a single subcutaneous injection site.

Pigs: 2.5 mg of enrofloxacin / kg bw, corresponding to 0.5 ml / 20 kg bw, once daily by intramuscular injection for 3 days.

Digestive tract infection or septicemia caused by Escherichia coli: 5 mg enrofloxacin / kg bw, corresponding to 1 ml / 20 kg bw, once daily by intramuscular injection for 3 days.

Administer on the neck, at the base of the ear.

No more than 3 ml should be administered in a single intramuscular injection site.

Contraindications

Do not use in animals with seizure disorders associated with the central nervous system. Do not use in the presence of cartilage development disorders or musculoskeletal damage around functionally significant or weight-bearing joints. Do not use for prophylaxis. Do not use in known cases of resistance to other fluoroquinolones due to potential for cross-resistance.

Withdrawal period

Cattle: Meat: s.c .: 12 days. i.v .: 5 days. Milk: s.c .: 4 days. i.v .: 3 days.

Pigs: Meat: 13 days.

Pharmacological properties

Enrofloxacin exerts a concentration-dependent bactericidal action against a broad spectrum of Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria and mycoplasmas. The minimum inhibitory concentration is close to the minimum bactericidal concentration. The mechanism of action of quinolones is based on the inhibition of bacterial DNA gyrase, an enzyme that is responsible for controlling the axial rotation of bacterial DNA during replication. The union of the double helix is ​​inhibited producing an irreversible degradation of the chromosomal DNA. Fluoroquinolones also have activity against bacteria in the stationary phase by altering the permeability of the phospholipid layer of the outer membrane of the cell wall.
