 一般に変形性関節症と呼ばれる変性性関節疾患は、関節周囲の軟骨の進行性の長期的な悪化であり、こわばりや長期間の不活動を引き起こします。

 ケトフェンは、犬の変形性関節症に伴う痛みや炎症を制御するのに効果的な非ステロイド性抗炎症薬（NSAID）です。

有効成分のケトプロフェンはホルモン産出に影響を及ぼし、抗炎症作用と鎮痛作用を発揮します。

ホルモンレベルで機能する当薬剤は、犬の軟部組織と整形外科手術に伴う術後痛の緩和管理にも役立ちます。

Ketofen 20mg Tablets provide effective treatment for chronic cases of musculo-skeletal inflammation in dogs, such as degenerative joint disease. Commonly referred to as Osteoarthritis, degenerative joint disease is a progressive, long-term deterioration of the cartilage surrounding joints, which causes stiffness and long periods of inactivity. Ketofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) effective in controlling the pain and inflammation associated with Osteoarthritis in dogs.

When given as directed by your vet, the active ingredient, Ketoprofen, produces anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects by affecting hormone production. By working at a hormonal level, Ketofen tablets are useful in the management of post-operative pain associated with soft tissue and orthopaedic surgeries in dogs.
