偶発的な交配後の雌犬の望まない妊娠を防ぐための避妊薬。

有効成分：安息香酸エストラジオール0.2mg/ml

有効成分、安息香酸エストラジオールは、雌犬の生殖器系の発達と活動を調節するステロイドホルモン。

中枢神経系細胞、内分泌および生殖器の受容体との相互作用に働きかけます。

血中のエストラジオールの濃度が高まり、漏出を刺激、増加した濃度は卵子の受精を阻害します。

エストラジオールは加水分解され、血漿エステラーゼと肝酵素によって不活化されます。その後、代謝物は胆汁とともに排泄されます。犬の半減期は60分です。

（使用法）

必ず獣医師の指示監督の下、適切に投与して下さい。

<参考＞

計画外の偶発的な、交配後3日目と5日目に、体重22ポンド（10 kg）あたり0.5 ml（安息香酸エストラジオール0.1 mg）の用量で皮下または筋肉内に1回注射するのが一般的です。（この場合、交配日をゼロ日として数えます。）

雌犬が数回交尾した場合、または交尾の時間が不明な場合は、3、5日目と7日目に3回注射するのが一般的です。

＜禁忌＞

・猫には使用しないでください。

・妊娠中および授乳中の動物、ならびにホルモン障害または炎症過程によって引き起こされる生殖器の疾患（子宮蓄膿症、子宮炎、子宮内膜炎）にはこの薬を使用しないでください。

＜注意 ＞

・使用前に低温保存後の粘度を下げるため、ボトルを手で温めてください。

・低温で保管した後の製品の粘度を下げるには、手でボトルを温めます。

・5〜25°C（40〜70 F）の温度で、子供の手が届かないところに保管して下さい。

・ボトル開封後、35〜45 F（2〜8°C）の温度で暗い場所に保管する場合は、30日以内に製剤を使用する必要があります。

・貯蔵寿命– 2年。

Pharmacological properties :

Estradiol benzoate is a steroid hormone that regulates the development and activity of the reproductive system in females. The effectiveness of the drug is due to interaction with the receptors of the central nervous system cells, endocrine and genital organs.

If the concentration of estradiol in the blood is increased, it stimulates leakage, and its increased concentration eliminates fertilization of the ovum.

Estradiol hydrolysis and inactivated by plasma esterases and liver enzymes, after which the metabolites are excreted with bile.
