（商品説明）

有効成分：酢酸メドロキシプロゲステロン–50mg/ml

1パック2ml ×5本= 10ml

猫や雌犬の生殖器からの液漏れの長期的な予防。

望まない妊娠の予防、偽妊娠の治療と雌犬や猫のニンフォマニアの治療に用いられます。

酢酸メドロキシプロゲステロンは、天然のプロゲステロンよりも効果が長続きする合成ゲスターゲンです。

酢酸メドロキシプロゲステロンは、腺下垂体からの性腺刺激ホルモン（FSHおよびLH）の分泌を遮断することにより、視床下部-下垂体系に影響を及ぼします。

血中の性腺刺激ホルモンのレベルが低下すると、雌の卵胞形成が妨げられ、卵胞の排卵と受精が遅くなります。

（使用法）

以下を目安に皮下もしくは筋肉内に注射投与。

雌犬の体重別投与目安

・2-5kg―1〜1.5ml
・5-10kg―1.5-2ml
・10-20kg－2〜3 ​​ml
・20-30kg―3〜4 ml
・4〜5 ml/30-40kg―4〜5 ml
・40 kg以上―5～6ml

猫の体重別投与目安

・3 kg以下– 0.5 ml

・3 kg以上：1〜2 ml

猫のニンフォマニアの治療– 0.5〜1ml。

・漏れを長期的に予防するために、漏出が始まる5〜10日前に投与され、雌犬には5〜6か月後に再度、猫には4〜6か月後に再度、繰り返し投与して下さい。

・薬を投与された雌犬が性的興奮の兆候を示した場合は、更に投与量を増やす必要がある場合もあります。

・シャム猫の場合、投与量は獣医師が個別に決定します。

・使用前はよく振って下さい。

必ず獣医師の指示に従い、適切な処置を施して下さい。

＜禁忌：以下に該当する場合は使用しないで下さい。＞

・生殖器（子宮蓄膿症、隕石、子宮内膜炎など）、泌尿器系の臓器の病気。

・乳腺腫瘍、他のエストロゲンおよびプロゲストゲンによる治療中の場合。

・性的未熟。

・妊娠中、授乳中。

・薬に対する過敏症。

（注意）

・手術後は薬を投与しないでください。

・場合によっては、リークの抑制が永続的である可能性があります。

・薬の投与後、10日間程度、受精能力が維持されるケースがあります。

・交配を望まれる場合は、投与中止後、2回目の漏れの後に交配することをお勧めします。

・5〜25°の温度の子供の手の届かない乾燥した暗く涼しい場所で保管して下さい。

・貯蔵寿命– 2年。

Description

Ingredients:

1 ml of the preparation contains

the active substance:

Medroxyprogesterone acetate – 50 mg.

Auxiliary substances: methylparagidroxybenzoate, propylparagidroxybenzoate, sodium chloride, polysorbate 80, polyethylene oxide 1500, water for injection.

Pharmacological properties:

Medroxyprogesterone acetate is a synthetic gestagen that has a longer lasting effect than natural progesterone. Medroxyprogesterone acetate affects the hypothalamic-pituitary system by blocking the secretion of gonadotropic hormones (FSH and LH) from the adenohypophysis. Decrease in the level of gonadotropic hormones in the blood leads to disturbed folliculogenesis in females, resulting in slower follicle ovulation and fertilization.

Application:

For long term prevention or termination of leaks in cats and bitches and prevention of unwanted pregnancy; treatment of sham pregnancy and pseudolactation of bitches; treatment of nymphomania in cats.

Dosage:

The drug is injected once subcutaneously in the area of the crest or intramuscularly in the area of the thigh in doses:

1) for treatment of sham pregnancy and pseudolactation: bitches weighing up to 22lb (10 kg) – 0.5 ml of the preparation, from 22-44lb (10 to 20 kg) – 1 ml, more than 88lb (40 kg) – 3 ml.

2) to prevent the appearance of a leak – 5-10 days before its occurrence, for its termination – within 1-2 days after the first signs (change of behavior, the beginning of mucous secretions with an admixture of blood, attractiveness for persons of the opposite sex):

– females with body weight 4.4-11lb (2-5 kg) – 1-1.5 ml of the preparation;

11-22lb (5-10 kg) – 1.5-2 ml;

22-44lb (10-20 kg) – 2-3 ml;

44-66lb (20-30 kg) – 3-4 ml;

66-88lb (30-40 kg) – 4-5 ml;

more than 88lb (40 kg) – 5-6 ml; 22-44lb (10-20 kg) – 2-3 ml; 44-66lb (20-30 kg) – 3-4 ml; 66-88lb (30-40 kg) – 4-5 ml.

– Cats with body weight up to 6.6lb (3 kg) – 0.5 ml; over 6.6lb (3 kg) – 1-2 ml.

3) in treatment of cat nymphomania – 0.5-1 ml of the preparation.

To prevent a single leak, the drug should be administered to bitches once at the latest one month before the alleged leak, and to cats immediately after the next leak.

For long-term prevention of leaks, the drug is administered 5-10 days before the start of a leak, repeated to bitches after 5-6 months, and cats – after 4-6 months.

In case the bitches with whom the drug was administered show signs of sexual arousal, it is necessary to give an extraordinary injection of the drug.

For Siamese cats, the dosage is determined individually by the veterinarian.

Before use, the contents of the bottle should be thoroughly shaken until a homogenous suspension is obtained.

Contraindications:

Diseases of the genitals (pyometritis, meteorite, endometritis, etc.), organs of the urinary system.

The maintenance of bitches and cats for the purpose of obtaining a fetus.

Breast gland tumors, treatment with other estrogens and progestogen.

Sexual immaturity.

Pregnancy, lactation and leakage.

Hypersensitivity to the drug.

Caution:

Do not use animals in the first leak.

Do not administer the drug in the postoperative period.

It is not recommended to use greyhound bitches.

In some cases, the suppression of a leak may be permanent.

In bitches and cats after administration of the drug may store the ability to fertilize for 10 days.
