犬、猫用の消化器系経口駆虫薬。

有効成分フェベンダゾールが腸や呼吸器の線虫、条虫、回虫類、鉤虫類、鞭虫などを速やかに駆除するスペクトル薬。

成犬、成猫：回虫、鉤虫、鞭虫、条虫の駆除に有効。

小犬、子猫：原生動物（ジアルジア）に感染した小犬、胃腸線虫に感染した子猫に有効。

妊娠中の犬に対しても母乳を通して小犬にイヌ回虫、イヌ鉤虫が移動し出生前感染症になる恐れもあるため、使用できます。

肺虫や原生動物に感染した犬、肺虫に感染した猫の治療にも使用可。線虫卵を駆除する効果もあります。

（使用法）

(1).成犬、成猫：1日あたり1回、1ml/kg目安に経口投与

＜推奨使用量＞

体重2－4kg：　4mL
体重4－8kg：　8mL
体重8－16kg：　16mL
体重16－24kg： 24mL
体重24－32kg： 32mL
体重32－64kg： 64mL

64kg以上の大型犬は、体重超過分につき1ml/kgを追加投与。
使用時にはエサと混ぜ合わせて与えるか、あるいは食後に口から直接経口投与。

寄生虫が再発した場合は処置を繰り返します。

成犬、成猫に対する使用頻度は1年に2～4回、犬小屋で飼育している犬に対する使用頻度は6～8週ごとの処置が望ましいとされています。

(2)6か月齢以下の子犬、子猫：１日当たり１回、体重0.5ml/kgを目安に3日間連続経口投与。

離乳後の場合はエサに混ぜ、授乳中の場合は食後に直接経口投与。
＜推奨使用量＞
体重1kgまで：0.5mL/日を3日間
体重1－2kg：1mL/日を3日間
体重2－4kg：2mL/日を3日間
体重4－6kg： 3mL/日を3日間
体重6－8kg： 4mL/日を3日間
体重8－10kg： 5mL/日を3日間

・10kg超過の子犬に対しては超過分体重0.5ml/kgを追加投与。

・子犬は生後2週間と5週間で処置し、ブリーダーから離れる前にもう一度処置するのが望ましく、処置は、生後8週間目と12週間目にも必要となる場合もある。

・その後は再感染が起こらない限りは処置の頻度は減らしていきます。　
 

(3)妊娠犬：妊娠40日目から出産後、子犬（およそ25日目）を含めて1日につき0.25ml/kgを目安に経口投与。

＜推奨使用量＞
4kg：　1mL/日を約25日間
8kg：　2mL/日を約25日間
12kg： 3mL/日を約25日間
20kg： 5mL/日を約25日間
40kg： 10mL/日を約25日間

40kg以上の犬に対しては、超過分だけ0.25ml/kgを目安に経口投与。生まれた子犬は生後2週間目と5週間目で3日間のコースで処置が必要とされる場合もあります。
 

(4)妊娠している猫：通常の成猫の使用量の1回分のみ使用します。

1回の使用量としては、1ml/kgを目安に使用。

(5)特異性感染症の場合

成犬と猫における感染の処置または犬のジアルジア感染症の処置のため、3日間連続で毎日0.5ml/kgを目安に経口投与。


(6)犬の肺虫（灰吸虫）の管理のために、連続7日間で毎日体重0.5ml/kgを経口投与。
場合により、処置を繰り返す必要が出てくる場合もあります。

(7)猫の肺虫（灰吸虫）の管理のために、連続3日間で毎日体重0.5ml/kgを経口投与。

フェベンダゾールは安全性に優れた医薬品ですので、過剰使用でも重大な反応を引き起こすことはありません。

禁忌：　皮膚に直接触れないようにし、使用後は手を洗ってください。
使用量を決める前に、体重を正確に測ってください。

動物への使用のみに限ります。

薬学的な注意：
凍らせないでください。使用前によく容器を振ってください。
しみないゴム手袋を使用してください。
包装と残った製品は廃棄してください。

Panacur 10% Oral Suspension 100ml

Panacur Small Animal 10% Oral Suspension is a ready to administer oral wormer for dogs, cats, puppies and kittens. It comes in a 100ml bottle with 1 ml of suspension containing 100 mg active ingredient fenbendazole.

Description

For the treatment of adult dogs and cats infected with gastro-intestinal roundworms and tapeworms

For the treatment of puppies and kittens infected with gastro-intestinal roundworms and puppies infected with protozoa (Giardia spp.)

For the treatment of pregnant bitches to reduce prenatal infections of Toxocara canis and the transfer of roundworms to their pups via the milk

Also for the treatment of dogs infected with lungworm or protozoa Giardia spp. and cats infected with lungworm

You should carefully read all product packaging and labels prior to use.

Dosage:

Dosage for adult dogs and cats: 1 ml per 1 kg bodyweight as a single oral dose

Dosage for puppies and kittens under six months of age: 0.5 ml per kg bodyweight daily for 3 consecutive days given by mouth after feeding to unweaned animals or mixed with food for weaned animals

Adult dogs and cats should be wormed routinely 2 to 4 times a year, 6 to 8 times in higher risk situations e.g. breeding kennels and catteries

Puppies and kittens should be treated from 2 weeks old and then 3 to 4 more times until the age of 12 weeks

For the effective, simple control of roundworms, Panacur should be given continuously to bitches and queens from day 40 of pregnancy to 2 days after birth. This is important to ensure the puppies and kittens are not infected in the period after birth.
